COVID Update 31 July 2020
Awesome news (for some), as from tomorrow Friday July 31, the temporary local rule for the flagsticks and the bunkers will be removed.
What this means for you as golfers:-
- You are now able to tend and remove the flagsticks (preferably with a gloved hand or a towel)
- The bunker rakes will be replaced, you now no longer get relief and you have to rake the bunker after your shot.
Please be aware, that Western Australia is still in a State of Emergency, therefore the restrictions on the number of people we can have in the Club House and change rooms still apply. Where possible it is appreciated if you could please use the seating as placed.
Don't forget we still require members to book their golf before they come to the Club and also to poke your head into the Pro Shop or the Office and let us know that you are here.
A couple of small requests:-
- As the Course staff are currently renovating the walls of the bunkers they ask that all players please enter and exit the bunkers where the rake holders are located (these are currently being shifted to outside of the bunkers), and not walk up and/or down the walls.
- Could all members please fill any divots in that they see on the Course, this will help to keep the Course in the amazing condition that it is currently in.
- On the driving range please repair divots to help with the recovery of this area.
Once again, we would like to thank all of the Members and Visitors to the Club for their understanding and cooperation with the strategies that have had to be put in place during these restrictions, and remind all Members, their families and Visitors that we are actually still in a State of Emergency here in WA (even though it doesn't feel like it), so please keep up the good hygiene practices and physical distancing requirements and hopefully we will all come out of this stronger.
